- Designing and building a spaced-repetition language-learning platform as a three-tier system: a cross-platform Expo/React Native app (iOS, Android, Web), a Python content pipeline, and a Cloudflare serverless backend (Workers, D1, R2)
- Implemented an FSRS-based spaced-repetition engine with server-authoritative progress tracking and offline-capable on-device reviews

Personal product — solo design & build · Aug. 2026 – Present

- Built a self-hosted Japanese dictionary over 180,000+ JMdict entries and KANJIDIC2 with sub-5 ms full-text search, pitch-accent curves, and stroke-order animations
- Deployed it on a home server behind a Cloudflare Tunnel with a pull-based, CI-gated release pipeline, and linked it to the learner's memory model to colour words by i+1 difficulty
